"I visited today, on week day and it was less-crowded and serene. I loved the place so much and thought of visiting it again. There are benches to relax and take in the beauty of the river and greenery. You can walk around for at least 15-30 minutes. You can spot wild duck and few other birds as well. If you are in Sydney and loooking for peaceful and beautiful place, this park is a great place to visit. note: no dogs allowed!"
"Great place for a picnic or just a stroll along the river bank. Maybe even cast in a line and try your luck at catching some fish. Toilets, running water and plenty of parking too."
"The Ridge track is a beautiful track considering this is in Suburban Sydney. It takes you through rocky outcrops with water views and beautiful vegetation with mixed wildflowers all season. Some days the water is clean, other times its filthy. Garbage is a problem sadly, yet its big enough to give the illusion of being a true nature getaway near Sydney."
"I love going here and having a picnic during lunch time. So peaceful. You get to enjoy nature and the view of the river. There is a toilet nearby, picnic table and a bbq. I have seen some people fishing here too. You can also take a walk on the pathway to Fitzpatrick park, Picnic Point, all the way to Lambeth Reserve."
"It's great for a picnic or a quick walk. A little noisy from the jet skis and speed boats so not the best for picnics. I would recommend Fitzpatrick park instead. But for a hike that is short and sweet, give the Ridge Trail a try. About an hour return."
