"Nice place and good food. Had a salad and loved it!"
"The food was delightful! The egg Benedict eggs tasted bland and repetitive. I'd say, forgive my language, atrociously disgusting, however, it tremendously gave me confidence in my cooking skills. The serving portion was too small for such a hefty price, it's amusing really, but at least I don't eat too much. The bread tasted straight from Woolworths, would prefer if they made the bread instead, but it tasted very dry. (May appetise some people) For around 7 minutes, my hands remained in the air, seeking attention from the waiter. This disgusting food left a bad taste in my mouth, I advise you to try your own food after cooking - (I'm a chef.) I wanted to ask for a glass of tap water, however, I was ignored. So I gave up. This made me realise the world is not my oyster, thank you for reminding me! Waiters are not professional. Not enough confidence. It's a learning experience, I understand. When I left to pay, I was professionally greeted by this frowning man. Startled me a bit, but now I understand that some nice lads like to frown. The disgusting food made me feel more self confident. The small portion made me feel like I'm on a diet. The ignorance of the waiters made me realise that the world is not my oyster. And I now know that nice lads like to frown. Therefore, I rate this restaurant a 5/5. Ah, reminds me of school - what a great learning experience."
"I guess I won’t be back. We waited a long time to order which with little kids could be an eternity. Finally ordered and waited a long time for the food. Given what was ordered I don’t know why. The kids had the fish and chips. The fish was nice but the presentation was awful. No garnish, no lemon ( probably a must for fish and chips!) no sauce. Had to ask for at least tomato sauce for the chips. I had the soup of the day which was mushroom. It was extremely underseasoned and the toast was burnt. Again no garnish, bad presentation and no even butter for the toast! The soup tasted like it was boiled mushrooms that were put on the blender… So we left with a very disappointed experience and an overpriced bill for what was served."
"Cafe located in St Ives shopping village, near Harris Farm. Although the wait staff were very young, likely high school students, they came across as very capable and efficient. I ordered the avocado feta brushetta, and although quite good and well prepared, the serving size was rather small. Reasonably priced."
"For a cafe in a shopping centre, it's roomy and comfortable with a fantastic menu full of delicious options and great, quick service."
