Created and composed by the talented Joe Accaria, co-created and directed by Nigel Turner-Carroll, and featuring choreography by Peta Anderson, DrummerQueens premiered in Australia at the prestigious Sydney Lyric Theatre in February 2021. It then captivated audiences at the Comedy Theatre Melbourne in April and the Lyric Theatre at Brisbane's QPAC in May 2021.

The mostly younger crowd, enthusiastically applauded the considerable percussion skills, inter-spread with dancing, acrobatics, light show, and costumes. The show crosses all boundaries with little to no dialogue, but then, misses possible vocals, which are somewhat compensated with synthesised sounds. Highly entertaining, and definitely lively."
