Hanabi Korean BBQ Restaurant 33 Joseph Street, Lidcombe, New South Wales 2141

"the waitress came and ask for ordering twice in 5 minutes, I asked for recommendation and she didn’t say anything and just walked away...???? Didn’t tell us different plates for intestines and meats... we finished dinner at Hanabi and drove to Fresh Asiana directly. When I just arrived the Fresh Asiana (20 mins after dinner), my stomach was sooooo painful. Then, I had got a run because I had the beef intestine at hanabi I guess. Cuz it’s only one thing I ate different with my frd. My frd didn’t eat the intestine at all, cuz taste not good..... thanks god, there’s a bathroom just next to Fresh Asiana, really can not hold it. Horrible diarrhea. I usually have a strong stomach, even though I had bad food. I love Korean BBQ and intestines, but this experience make me feel so bad."

"This is absolutely the worst service ever in my life. If you are taking friends or family, please head other restaurant. Otherwise, you will be no longer with them. 1. We were unwelcome customers. We visited 5mins before the shop opens. Cuz we didn't know the opening time. The lady was unhappy to tell us. 2. Uncooked food served on food burner without any mentions and any tongs. We thought they cook it for us. But they didn't care about the food at all. Bottom part got burn.. we try to mix them. Only then, the staff served tongs for the food. And said '스스로 직접 해먹어야 해요' which means 'you need to cook by yourself' if you said that beginning we did. But the staff didn't mention we should cook. 3. Staff service was horrible. They don't look happy at all. No talk with customer, we called them but the lady looked at us but just ignored. I thought they can not speak Korean so I tried to speak English. But still no ANSWER. 4. The staff told 1hour and half limited to eat just right before to take a seat. What a beautiful Saturday dinner. Service worst Please head other restaurant. If you try Hanabi, you will hate Korean BBQ."

"One of the besg kbbq joints in Sydney. Service is often impeccable, the food is insanely delicious, meat tastes fresh and the sides are brilliant. They have a wonderful menu, great selection of cuts and sides, great vibes outside and a lovely set up. Cannot recommend more."

"I came here for dinner few days ago. It was early evening. Service was literally terrible.. Staffs didn’t care us at all even though there were just few tables in the restaurant. One of staff spilled some side dishes, but he didn’t apologize which was still acceptable and they just left foods that I ordered without any comment. Me and my friends started to cook, after that fire and smoke were too much but nobody came to us, so we called a staff and they said we should have put bbq on the side of the grill. They should have mentioned us before they blame us. And she just took the food from us without asking. Service was horrible! We were unhappy"

"A small cosy Korean BBQ joint which seats a surprising amount of people. The meats we ordered were very tasty but it was busy and service slowed to a crawl. Our coals came out early and we're not at their hottest when the meat finally came out. Staff very friendly but were often forgetful and overwhelmed, forgetting part of our order. The place has no ventilation and a thousand BBQs going really makes the smell stick to your clothes, hair and skin. The last gripe is how small the BBQs are, with the hot area being very small leaving longer times to cook everything."
