"My husband and I went to Monkey Thai for the first time recently and we will definitely be going back ! We ordered satay chicken skewers & vegetarian spring roll for entree. For mains we had chicken panang curry and prawn cashew nut stir fry. The Panag curry was absolutely delicious and very authentic. The cashew nut was also great and prawns tasted fresh however the jam was quite strong and heavy for us but that’s just our personal taste. The service was great and staff were so attentive and kind. I will mention though that the atmosphere of the restaurant is very loud and we couldn’t really hear ourselves talk. This may be uncomfortable for some. I guess this is an example of how popular this place is. If you are going on a Friday / Saturday I suggest booking a later session so most of the crowd start to leave and the noise goes down to a comfortable level. Overall a beautiful restaurant and we will be returning soon."
"Good service and attentive wait staff. Food is of good quality as well. I would say it’s slightly up market with less portions but a lot more refined. The soft shell crab was delicious and the noodles were super authentic with that signature Thai spicy kick."
"Banquet $55.. we did changed a little from the menu. We couldn't even finish desert.. it's worth the price and taste and volume were can't describe as really good.. amazing friendly service and quick serve.. 100% recommends"
"This is a great place. Came here on a work colleague’s recommendation. Located in a suburban street. A large modern restaurant with a buzz. Food was great. Highly recommend the Sirracha prawns, the crab fried rice and the red curry. The red curry had the right balance of spice."
"*response to the owner's comment* If lunch specials are takeaway only, please specify that. I have included a picture of your signage which doesn't not show this. Had lunch here the other week after seeing a sign that they had lunch specials. When looking at the menu there were nothing in relation to lunch specials and it was only until I asked they confirmed there is no lunch special but they did have buddha bowls on another menu(piece of paper) that was never provided with the menu. A bit misleading and sneaky if you ask me, especially when you advertise it on the sign outside to bring customers in. The veggie buddha bowl was ok. The peanut sauce included was nice. We also tried the pad kee mao which was good. The full menu is a bit pricey for Thai dishes on average ranging between 20-30ish per mains."
