"I went here to celebrate my husband's birthday. Decor was fantastic and the food shows as well. The reason why I didn't get five stars is that our server was a bit slow with our requests and wasn't attentive. I assumed that he was new. I had an early booking of 5:30 with a big group because of our 9-month-old baby and needed to be out at a certain time for his bedtime. The first server was great and she was very prompt and fast with all our orders and always checked if we were okay with the food. Once it hit the peak time for dinner our server was changed. The server he did not check on our table to see if we needed anything so I had to be the one to flag someone down to which they told me they will notify our server. Don't get me wrong he was very nice and tried to assist when I was able to flag him down but when you have a crying baby and expected to be out at a certain time, it made things overwhelming for the parents and the guests. The birthday music was very nice and unique so we definitely had a good time. Would definitely come back again but I hope the servers are more attentive the next time around we come."
"I loved the atmosphere. Such a beautiful space with lovely lighting that feels spacious and bright. The food was great! Loved the kibbeh and the cauliflower dish we had. I could taste the cumin and lemon on cauliflower. It was amazing. I love that, even though this is a bit of a higher end place, you still get the Lebanese bread on the table. It's slightly more expensive than other similar places but worth it for the experience. I think the staff were pretty run off their feet when I visited. We had to ask to get water a couple of times. However, once we ordered the food arrived really quickly. It seems they also have a birthday cake service and will go to a lot of trouble for people's birthday celebrations, which is nice. They have a whole song and dance for those celebrating a special day."
"If I could give a star for each category I would, firstly service - we were seated, order was taken in the first 5 minutes which was great. Food came and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, presented well. Only downfall..the customer service. We wanted some drinks after we finished and no one came out to check if we wanted anything, any more drinks or even dessert perhaps. For two people : $160. Worth the food but not worth the service unfortunately."
"Food and drinks were average for the price and hype. I had much better experience in other Lebanese places. Fattoush was way too sour and the sourness was overpowering in most of the dishes we ordered. Service was rushed they insisted to order in like 3 mins as they want to close the kitchen. Ambience is good it can be very crowded during weekends. I didn’t like both drinks i ordered."
"We dined in for a late lunch; the service was prompt. All dishes were tasty. I’ve been to a few other Al Aseel restaurants and this one lacks character in comparison to the others. It’s a large restaurant that can easily sit a couple of hundred people yet the bathroom situation doesn’t accommodate such a number of people. The restrooms are shared and there’s only 2 available with not much of a waiting space when both are occupied; we actually finished up quicker than expected because both cubicles were occupied at the same time for quite a while."
