"Ordered via ubereats, half the food was missing, called the restaurant 3 times and kept getting a voicemail that they were closed. Food that we did receive was half full and no where near worth the price we had to pay. Never again."

"Average Chinese food not worth the price tag. Similar to the food court Chinese food. Wontons were terrible. Satay chicken and honey chicken were ok but not worth the price."

"When Fortune Bites first opened, it was the best Aussie style Chinese in the area. It has sadly reduced in quality drastically since changing hands (maybe more than once). Last time I ordered, they weren’t answering the phone, so I made an order directly through there website. After paying with my credit card I found out the the payment was handled through a UK based company called Foodhub who said my order had been cancelled and I would be refunded in a week. So Fortune Bites cancelled my order and Food Hub had my money!! This was the 28th of October 2022. Foodhub have no contact details Australia and the service is automated and useless. I drove to Fortune bites where I was told that they cancelled my order but I could order again. So I did (I believed I’d be refunded for the first one). -The fried rice is basically the cheap kind of ingredients you would get from a food court (corn, carrot, cheap stuff), whereas it used to be full of bbq pork pieces, ham, egg, prawns and shallots. -The spring rolls also came out wrong. I think they must have ran out and replaced them with poor quality mini spring rolls from the supermarket freezer, if they had told me this I wouldn’t have ordered them. They also left out the red sauce. -The Honey Chicken was mostly small pieces with lots of excess batter. Really trashy food. Food Hub still owes me $43 and that’s because Fortune Bites gives bad service and worse food."

"Their food used to be awesome but the last few experiences we have had to wait 2-3.5 hours for our food. First time we called then when they were late and they kept saying “it’s on its way” but that just went on for almost 4 hours. With 4 small children waiting til after 10pm for their dinner was really terrible. Then the next time they said it would be under an hour. At 1.5 hours wait we called and they said they lost our order and it would be another hour. 15 mins later, after many tears of children and 2 minute noodles and toasties cooking, they called and said it’s on its way. When we got it both late times, the order was wrong and missing items. They used to be really good, and we gave them a few chances since change of ownership, but we won’t order from them again. We were good customers too, ordering over $150-$200 worth of food every time and being as understanding as we could."

"Ordered their Shandong chicken. It was a smaller portion than expected but it was delicious. The sweetness of the sauce was just right. Would definitely order again and try other dishes."
