Holy Heffa Burger Truck

"It’s been some time since I gave my first review when this place just opened, 7+ years ago. My go to is always the truffle trip. It’s still a bombass juicy packed burger, up there with the best I’ve had however the recipe has changed from the OG days. It used to be a 5/5 standout. Like wow, they were the GOAT for me. There was nothing like it at the time.. It’s now a 4/5, more generic, very subtle truffle flavour, added greens and there’s more onions to mushroom ratio. Flavours more diluted. Please bring back the old recipe with the intense truffle mushroom sauce! Nevertheless, this place still kills Betty’s, BL, classic, all the other casual joints."

"Went in for a late night bite. Had the truffle trip combo and the hangry bird. The truffle trip burger was absolutely delicious and was so filling! the the texture of the chicken in the hangry bird was very crunchy and the chicken itself was very flavourful. The loaded fries were crispy and and complimented both burgers perfectly. The portion of chips was massive! it could have easily fed two or three (AT LEAST)! Burgers and meal combos was actually very cheap and affordable which I was quite surprised about considering the quality and portion size. If you are craving a deliciously dirty burger fix then Holy Heffa is definitely recommended. Plenty of carpark available and you can also sit on a bench or on the converted bus to eat. The bus was very clean btw."

"As a former restaurateur I'm continually intrigued by not just the food but also the people behind the businesses that keep Sydney fed. Last night, I had the opportunity by invitation to meet the owner and try the gourmet burgers and fries at Holy Heffa, located just a couple of streets down from where my family first settled when we came to Australia. Noah (my special needs child) ate every last scrap of the large serve of truffle fries while Paul had the BBQ Deluxe and I had the Hangry Bird. Prices were very reasonable and food was delicious, plus we LOVED dining in the converted big bus next to the food truck. Looking forward to visiting again."

"Andrew from Holy Heffa invited me to come try some burgers and meet the crew of Holy Heffa. He made a Truffle Trip burger and Hangry bird burger for me. The truffle burger was awesome, well put together. the smokiness of the angus patties complemented with the caramelised onions, garlic mushrooms, melted cheese and truffle mayo perfectly. Paired with their loaded truffle fries this was a beautiful truffle overload. The soft milk buns were tender and the burger was a delight. The hangry bird was also a great surprise. Many chicken burgers tend to dry out but this Taiwanese style marinated fillet had the right crisp outside and juicy inside. Pure joy! I count this as one of the best burger trucks I've tried in Sydney. Lovely crew, great burgers and loved by the locals. Do give this small business your support. You'll love their burgers"

"One of the best burger places I've tried! Burgers are nice and juicy and the fries were excellent! Milkshakes are also good but more for the sweet tooth and very filling. Not too expensive either. The service was just the downside as they were very slow at preparing once orders were taken. They have seating areas set up and also a bonfire on cooler nights."
