Mitran Da Dhaba Blacktown
About the Business
Welcome to Mitran Da Dhaba Blacktown, located at Third Avenue, 28 in Blacktown, Australia. As an establishment, food, point of interest, and restaurant, we aim to bring the authentic experience of a roadside eatery, known as a Dhaba, from the Indian Subcontinent to the heart of Australia.
In the Indian Subcontinent, Dhabas are commonly found along highways, serving as popular pit stops for travelers. We believe that wherever a Punjabi goes, a Dhaba follows. At Mitran Da Dhaba Blacktown, we strive to be your favorite and cozy hangout spot while offering a delectable selection of Australian cuisine.
We understand that good food is essential for a well-lived life. As Virginia Woolf once said, "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well." With this in mind, we bring you the flavors and ambiance of a traditional Dhaba, where you can indulge in a variety of mouthwatering dishes.
The concept of Dhabas originated when the cities of India became connected by national, state, and town roads. The first Punjabi Dhaba is believed to have been established shortly after this development, offering a taste of home-cooked meals and warm hospitality to travelers. At Mitran Da Dhaba Blacktown, we carry on this tradition by providing you with a homely atmosphere and flavorsome dishes that will transport you to the vibrant streets of India.
Join us at Mitran Da Dhaba Blacktown and experience the fusion of Indian and Australian cuisines. Whether you're craving a hearty curry, flavorful kebabs, or sizzling tandoori dishes, our menu has something to satisfy every palate. We invite you to embark on a culinary journey with us, where every bite tells a story of tradition, culture, and passion for food.
Come and enjoy the vibrant ambiance, friendly service, and mouthwatering flavors that Mitran Da Dhaba Blacktown has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you and providing you with an unforgettable dining experience.

"Super good food, very friendly staff, super tasty! Had no idea what we ordered and staff were very friendly helping us out. Was quite spicy and very very nice. The atmosphere was great and very authentic!"
"Very convincing Dhaba set up in Sydney. The ambience was indeed resembling a Dhaba. The. Food was also very good and had a descent quantity. The service was very quick. We had visited on a friday evening and few of the dishes were finished. Parking is limited, but if you visit after 8pm, you can manage to get parking at the nearby shops."
"Were craving something spicy and light. This place has been on our list for a while so thought of giving it a shot. Parking was not difficult to find. Got a table immediately. They have a washroom inside. Settle the bill at the counter made with the white truck. We felt the waiters were a bit in a rush and kept asking if we were ready to order, maybe because they were expecting a lot more customers. The menu was straight forward, not too many items to choose from. All items were served in less than 5-10 minutes from ordering them. We ordered: Papdi chaat - Quantity 5/5, Taste 4/5. Felt it had a coarse texture to it, especially the papdi. Didn't expect and didn't like raw tomato in a chaat. Afgani Murgh Tikka - Quantity 5/5, Taste 4/5. 4 big pieces served with mint raitha. The quantity of the raitha was way too less, but they did offer an extra serving when asked. Tasted good, could have been served in smaller pieces. Butter Roti - Quantity 5/5, Taste 5/5. 6 pieces were served fresh. Spicy butter chicken gravy - Quantity 5/5, Taste 4/5. Sumptuous quantity, spice felt a little later. Could have been better. Desserts: On our way out we ordered sweets, jilebi and milk cake. Both tasted well! Minimum order 250grams. Not likely to visit here again, will see..."
"Our family was there on last month family dinner. We had bad dinner. We choose one of the chicken dishes and we try to choose with mild spicy. But we could not eat the dish especially for my daughter. We'd like to eat indian dishes and try indian restaurant several time and this one is too much spicy. After that we decided not to go there again. I am so sorry to say that, I will choose another indian restaurant near there."
"Good dhaba ambience. Butter chicken was nice, not sweet. Angara chicken was too hot to handle although we are spice lovers. Food was decent, staff very friendly."
