Reviews
"Steak is not worth the money! Completely overpriced and low quality. I don’t understand how they could charge $100 for a meal that tastes worse than fast food. Would prefer to cook a coles steak myself. Definitely do not recommend this place at all. I got the 1kg T-bone and it was dry, tough, flavourless and borderline inedible."
"While the service was great and accomodating, the food fell short. I got the 250 Wagyu rump and asked for medium-rare. I'm not sure why it was such a thick cut, but thick cuts are always difficult to cook consistently and it wasn't consistent throughout. I think what is most disappointing is the price at Steak & Oyster Co. If you're going to charge steakhouse prices, make sure it is steakhouse price worthy. And it isn't. Having eaten better steaks in the last fortnight at a fraction of the price (Tennyson & Penshurst Hotel), this experience was definitely a let down."
"It is one of our favourite places to go for dinner. I love their chicken snitzel while happy loves their Rib eye steak and seafood galore. Food tastes great, and prices are still reasonable. Staff are friendly, helpful, and have a great ambience. What more can you ask?"
"It is located inside the W HQ building. Parking is relatively easy. There is plenty of seating as the restaurant is part of a good food court. Food is really really good. The restaurant is a must try when in the area. Staff are very friendly and flexible in customising the order. Service is quite fast."
"Had the 500g rib eye, double beef burger, pork ribs with a side of garlic bread. The rib eye was actually pretty decent. Steak was nice and tender and cooked perfectly, however a little underseasoned. The pork ribs were very tender, however, I would have preferred it if it had more flavour/sauce. The fries were a bit under salted and a tad oily (maybe was placed in the oil too early or not long enough?). The double beef burger exceeded my expectations and was pretty decent and on par with actual burger joints (moist and flavourful). Garlic bread was generously buttered and seasoned. The onion rings were absolutely perfect."
