"Have been twice in recent weeks, great service, food is prepared quickly, everything we had on both occasions were fresh, tasty and cooked very well. The place can get very packed, and loud so can be a tight squeeze at times."
"Amazing fusion of Vietnamese cuisine, and one of the fastest service of food I have ever encountered. 10/10 recommend for family and friends, take your partner and loved ones out for a nice experience here. Best to try the bun cha (Vietnamese meatballs), it was worth every bite!"
"If there was one thing lacking in Edmondson park previously, there wasn’t any good Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The closest authentic Vietnamese restaurant would be in Cabramatta, but ED has two Asian fusion restaurants now. Thanh’s interior is decorated nicely which shows the artist work throughout all the restaurants at ED with different murals for each culture. There’s plenty of tables, no reservation required just walk-ins. Thanh binh serves traditional and authentic Vietnamese street food and dishes do impress. Some of my favourite dishes include beef pho, bun dac biet with crispy spring roll and bbq pork with rice dishes. Their rice paper deep fried spring rolls are the best, the crunch and mouth watering flavours will have you eating one after another. As for drinks, Vietnamese iced coffee is very disappointing because it uses instant coffee plus condensed milk. For nice Viet coffee, go to Cabramatta and ‘14 north 108 east’ restaurant. The 3 bean. I’ve been to Thanh Binh a few times ever since it opened at ED. During the first year prices were reasonably priced but still higher than Cabramatta. The prices have now increased a few dollars making all main dishes that were previously under $20 dishes to above $20, while some of the entrees remain below $20. The portions are a lot smaller than restaurants at Cabramatta also. If for convenience Thanh Binh is still a great option, but for price stick to Cabramatta."
"We visited Thanh Binh Asian Fusion earlier in the year to celebrate a family birthday, and despite the restaurant's high volume of customers, the wait was certainly worthwhile. The vermicelli spring rolls surpassed our expectations, boasting a delightful combination of crispiness on the outside and a flavourful, hot filling on the inside. Accompanied by a decadent and rich peanut sauce, these fresh spring rolls were so exquisite that we found ourselves enjoying the sauce on its own. Among the various dishes we tried, my personal highlight was the stir-fried noodles. Although I do forget the specific variation I had, its taste was exceptional. I had the Beef Pho which came with a bunch of coriander, chilli and mint. Perfect for a cold night - Super tasty and filling. Pricing was also extremely modest; our group were surprised at how budget-friendly our meals were! Moreover, the restaurant's convenient location within the Edmonson Square outdoor eat street contributes to its accessibility. It's worth noting that elevator access is available for individuals with mobility issues or families with strollers, making it a considerate choice for all diners. Overall, we could not rate Thanh Binh Asian Fusion more highly :D"
"Finally found a restaurant in the Southwest that serves delicious authentic Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. Dined here for lunch and the food is on point. We ordered beef noodle soup (pho) and crispy chicken with red rice. Taste is as good as Cabramatta!!! This will be our go to restaurant from now! P.s. Just a friendly suggestion. It would be lovely to see other traditional Viet food like Banh Canh, Chao and Bun Mam on the menu then you will really give me no reason to venture to Cabramatta!!"
