"8 Knots has everything - location, great food, and above all, such wonderful people running it. We've dined here a few times lately and the staff are just amazing looking after my elderly dad. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Food comes out fast, and is superb value for the quality, especially the salads. They also have no problems coping with dietary issues. The coffee is very good, and tea comes in a pot, with a proper cup and milk. The tables mostly look back to the road, but right next to you is a small park with the perfect view straight up Pittwater to Lion Island. There's a small amount of free parking out front, or paid council parking (free to locals). A fantastic local gem."
