Double Pour Cafe 83 Tucker Road, Bentleigh, Victoria 3204

"Our Go-To Cafe. We held our daughter's 4th birthday at Double Pour. It was an amazing experience. We had the space at the back of the cafe, which worked out great to contain the kids in the one area, and to also be sectioned off from the main cafe while others were enjoying their brunch. The area is such that we were able to pop up some decorations on the railings too. Everyone was impressed with the food - not your standard party food. The fruit platter was fresh and full of variety, the kids had individual serves of pancakes (so adorable), sandwhich platters with generous fillings, catering to vegetarians as well. Hot finger food was also substantial and of quality. Staff were very attentative, and pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality. Unfotrunately we were too occupied and didn't get any pics... But we did visit again for brunch. Food was fresh and vibrant (consistency, a must), so tasty, staff and owner were welcoming, and the ambience was relaxing. Spacious seating which was great with the kids. Decor is clean and open. We frequent Double Pour often now, even for our coffee catch ups for work :)"

"Husband and I, and friend who lives nearby, interested to try this place since they took over from Good Times Milk Bar. They'd only been open 3 days and there were some very obvious teething problems with staff but that's easy to sort out. Husband had calamari salad, friend had mixed mushroom medley with houlami on toast and I had avocado smash on toast with side of spinach. We also had flat whites, soy lattes, skinny lattes and tea! And even though I didn't need them I ordered fries which the kitchen forgot about anyway but then reminded them and they came out and yes piping hot though needed salt. The food was really good and the coffee (Dimattina) was excellent! There is lots of seating inside and out the back (friendly Schnauzer visiting with owners when I was there) and the decor is nice, light and bright, pinkish accents. However bathrooms unusual paintwork so check that out. They will be serving alcohol too but not yet and they also have nice tempting range of sweet treats (little cakes, muffins, brownies etc)."

We had our Benedict, roasted brown mushroom gnocchi and eggs Napoli over mango smoothie and carrot juice. We are still reminiscing over the gnocchi and the Benedict, both were exceptionally delicious and very satisfying to eat. They only use best quality ingredients and everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the potato gems, so crispy and yummy it was. The drinks were equally refreshing to drink. The service is friendly and prompt and the team of staff are all very welcoming, attentive and kind. "Great brunch place. Everything was delicious. We had the green eggs and ham, tomato medley and potato gems. Green eggs and ham was the highlight, would recommend. Tomato medley was cool with the various tomatoes but the dish was a bit basic. Gems were great. Golden gaytime and orange juice were good as well."
