"If you are craving Authentic Traditional Home Made Hearty Iraqi Meals then this is the place to go. My take away meal was a Slow cooked tender Lamb Shank in a deep tomato broth marinate, the meat was cooked perfectly with it falling off the bone with ease, with pieces of freshly baked Iraqi Bread soaking up all the tomato broth mixed with lamb juice flavours. This dish is served with a traditional Iraqi Salad & Authentic Iraqi Pickles. I have also tried the Charcoal BBQ Minced Iraqi Kebab Skewers of 3, with BBQ Char-grilled tomatoes & Onion lightly sprayed with tangy sumac powder flavouring; served on top of freshly baked Iraqi bread on a platter. Comes with a side of fresh salad as well traditional Iraqi AMBA mango curry pickles if dining in house. The Char-grilled kebab skewers are flame crisped on the outside, soft on the inside. This time around the kebabs seemed very lean, comes with a lemon wedge to squeeze over Kebabs, the lemon juice absorbed into the meat further enhances the flavour, which would also go great with garlic or hummus condiment dips. The cucumber & tomato salad was really refreshing.. The meals here are not only fulfilling, but were of a generous size portion that will definitely satisfy your appetite. Liked the recent renovations to the restaurant. More spacious & room for movement, with comfortable dining arrangement.. Cushioned benches with dining tables line one side of the restaurant & cushion dining chairs with tables on the other side. The walls are decorated with an interesting display of large pictures depicting the historical aspects of Iraq & the culture. The food & restaurant is representative of the Iraqi culture & quite aesthetically pleasing."

Dear Owner of the Aswer Baghdad Restaurant in Fairfield Heights, You should be aware that Boulevarde Street is crowded with Middle Eastern eateries, thus you are not the only one providing service. Take caution and evaluate your company!"

"I will not enter and order from this restaurant because I asked for grilled fish in the Masgoof style..but I was surprised that it was grilled in the oven and was somewhat dry and did not have a good taste and smell, which means it is not fresh...and I asked for fresh fish from the tanks they have, and this is our agreement, but it was not. Unfortunately for this very, very poor service. The account was not cheap..120 dollars"

"They have the best food’s ever, honestly never had kebab this good. But the fish was even better, honestly better than the fish I ate when I went to Iraq. I recommend this 100%"

"I ate here today & with utmost honesty, I would like to say it was good but can't even say that. The women serving me was great & restaurant very clean. However the kebabs I got was of poor quality, the meat had a high level of fat ratio, it was extremely watery, my gut feeling says they have loaded it with way too much onions. The meat had a fatty smell to it indicating high use of fat instead of more meat. I had extreme heartburn afterwards & this does not come easy with me. I have been to many Iraqi restaurants within the Fairfield district & this is not one I will be coming back to."
