"We visited many years after the bar staff refused to serve my son a Lemon, lime and bitters because he was under 18 years old. We have been a couple of times lately for a relaxing Sunday lunch. The food was good with a good choice of meals available. It isn't cheap eg the size of the duck piece doesn't necessarily match the $38 price but it is really tasty. There are cheaper options on the menu to suit the golfers needs catered for on the same menu. You are offered the no service or full service areas on choosing your seating. Both times we have sat outside on the balcony in the winter sun. You have to order at the bar at the full service price - but it's a nice outlook."
"Our wedding venue was absolutely stunning. Delicious food, great service and cosy reception for us and guests."
"I recently photographed a wedding at The Springs and I had the best experience there. The staff we very friendly and helpful and the place is modern and beautiful. It is a beautiful Golf Club wedding venue. You have your wedding ceremony on a grass area overlooking the golf course. And then you take a golf buggy and drive around the property for photos. Its awesome. The wedding reception facilities are excellent and the wedding went perfectly. Can't wait to get back there for more weddings."
"I did a live wedding painting here last month and I had so much fun painting the beautiful landscape! It was really inspiring and thankfully, the rain stopped just before the ceremony began. The staff are also lovely, and it was easy to find the ceremony location. I also love places that have a ramp for easy access from the parking lot, as I have a heavy trolley."
"I played a round of Golf today with my friend and we were shocked at how run down the course was. The greens around the club house were fine, obviously for the benefit of wedding guests etc but, once you're out of view, it was really disappointing. There are a couple of holes (the 18th being one) that have trees and bushes so overgrown, they block your view so you have to guess where to drive the ball. It's dangerous as well because if anyone happened to be walking by, you'd never see them. We had balls hitting trees behind us a couple of times from players who simply couldn't see us to shout "fore". The fairways were like the rough and we actually lost balls in areas you really shouldn't because the grass was so long. The sand traps haven't see fresh sand for a very long time either. Charging $50 per player for a course in that state, when you can play 18 holes at Wyong for $35, really is a bit of a cheek as the money is definitely not being spent on maintenance. I hope you take this as constructive criticism because it could be a great, challenging course with a bit of work and money spent on keep the grass cut and bushes and trees pruned."
