Blaxland Thai Restaurant, a family business, first opened its doors in 1997 in the beautiful town of Blue Mountains. In July 2006, Thai Square was founded in Redfern, and in January 2007, our second restaurant opened in Hazelbrook, returning to the home region of the Blue Mountains. Since then, Thai Square has expanded throughout the Blue Mountains, from Katoomba to Blaxland, as well as in Western Sydney's suburbs of Mulgoa and Erskine Park.

In 2008, Thai Square continued its expansion to the stunning town of Lake Macquarie, Warners Bay. In its first year of opening, it was awarded the prestigious title of Best Restaurant of the Year. Today, Thai Square covers the North, West, and South of Lake Macquarie, constantly striving to provide the taste of Thai food at an exceptional standard.
