"We had dinner at Blaq when we stayed at Kyah. Delicious food, highlights were the Miso Roasted Pumpkin, the Szechuan Eggplant, the Kangaroo dish and the Duck dish. To top it off, the cocktails!! They were amazing! Staffs were all also very friendly and helpful. Will come back again!"
"Had the pleasure of experiencing dining at Blaq last night with my partner. Everything we ordered was done just perfectly and really couldn't fault anything. The staff were super attentive and very kind to us both and were quick to deliver exceptional service. The food.. oh man, we went for a starter I wouldn't normally pick but I'm glad I did - the roasted miso pumpkin with dukkah is a MUST have it was delicious! The lamb and T-bone was perfectly cooked. To top it off the blueberry crumble and their signatures cocktails just elevated the entire experience. Thank you for having us will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will return if in the area again!"
"Came here for a weekend lunch. The menu is casual and portions are quite large, especially the pork scratchings. We enjoyed the T-bone steak, it was simple and cooked to our liking, the compound butter it was served with was a great pairing. The Sichuan eggplant was a little too sweet without the any of the numbing spiciness I expect when I see Sichuan food on a menu, but that may have been a personal preference thing. We had the financier and cremieux for dessert. The financier was buttery and a winner, the cremieux had a lot of ash in the dish which made it quite gritty. We'll definitely be back when we want a decent steak."
"A fantastic dining experience. Went here with friends for my birthday on a Saturday evening. Largish dining room, plenty of space between tables. Good local wine selection. Food was delicious. Good selection of large and small dishes including vegetarian options. On site parking. All in all a wonderful experience."
