"I had a dream haircut here about 8 weeks ago, regrettably I didn’t ask the lady’s name. I went back for a trim today and the same lady wasn’t available. Wish I had just turned around and left. A girl with glasses and a poor excuse for a ponytail, wearing the name Maxine, said she could cut it. Alarm bells started when she pulled out the electric trimmer and a comb to cut the back edge - Hello! 1986 high school undercut. I had a shoulder length layered style, I have thick hair, that needs thinning and layering. She took off the back two inches in length, in the first 15 seconds. At this point, I’m thinking “but surely, she has a plan, you would not cut someone’s hair with such robust confidence unless you know what you’re doing?! Right?!” MAXINE then proceeded to hack at my hair like Eddy Scissorhands, with what looked and sounded like dressmaker’s shears. I have no doubt that this girl is completely unqualified and has NO business cutting actual hair. I now have what could be described as a thick uneven motorbike helmet, that really highlights & accentuates my double chin. Thank you and go away Maxine. You’ve absolutely ruined my hair for the next 8-12 weeks. I had a better cut using a Brad Mondo tutorial during Covid that I did myself. And in fact this is exactly what I did to hide the butchery you inflicted on me, the very minute I got home. Shame on the business owner who gave this girl job as a stylist. She should be sweeping the floor as an apprentice. I’ll be lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs. Don’t think I’ve ever had such a horrific friggin haircut. "Hey , just wanted to let you know , the hairdresser the one that she is wearing glasses , is so rude ! When a customer asks for something certain you can reply back to him with a NO , if I want my hair shorter is my choice not yours girl!!!! Im paying for that it’s not free and I want to have what Im asking for! If you don’t like your job then leave! Also it doesn’t cost anything to be more polite !"

"Was absolutely mortified for my 20 year old Autistic son today when I took him in for a hair cut to this place. I explained to the woman there how he wanted his hair and told her it needed washing first. Not 5 minutes later I get a phone call from the woman asking me to come back. When I got there she said “I can’t cut his hair, he has nit eggs. I saw them when I went to wash it”. He was so embarrassed. I explained ti her that he doesn’t have nits, he has dandruff. She argued with me and said he has eggs. I asked her to show me. I put my close up glasses on and she pointed out a white dot, and I gently moved it off the hair strand with my finger tip - which you cant do with a nit egg, you have to pinch it with your nails and pull it out. I said “They are not eggs, it’s dandruff”. “No its eggs”, she insists. I then proceeded to check his whole head, trying to find a live nit. By all logic there should have been a tonne of them if every white flake was an egg. There were none!!! She then said “Oh I saw one before”. I did not believe her and she just kept saying “I cant do his hair, I cant do his hair”. My god. No words. We left with his hair sopping wet and went to Hairhouse up a bit further who were absolutely amazing!!! They checked his hair and confirmed it was just dandruff, then they washed his hair with a dandruff shampoo and cut it. They did an amazing job and were so lovely. DO NOT GO TO JUST CUTS!!! UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNDER TRAINED!!!"

"I visited Just Cuts at around 12pm on Monday and was surprised to find only one other customer in the store. I said I’d like my hair washed and cut if possible. The women told me, despite there being 2 hairdressers, it was an hour and ten minute wait. I said no worries I’ll come back. I drove home, downloaded their app as the pamphlet I picked up suggested, and checked in online. I then headed back at the suggested time. When I walked in, she was very surprised to see me, saying the wait time was now 30 minutes. I said that I had checked in online and it said 10 mins. She said she was going to have lunch so it was now 30 minutes so I can sit and wait. I said that she had directed me to come back an hour later so I drove home and have come back so no I will not be waiting and walked out. I’m now getting my hair cut at the new salon who fit me in straight away. Have always come to Just Cuts and never been disappointed till today"
