"Went to get a shellac manicure the other day and was absolutely devastated with the state my cuticles were left in. Not only was one of my fingers horrifically cut to the point of non stop bleeding, but 5 of them were, and the next day were sore and inflamed. My cuticles were roughly ripped off by the nail tech who proceeded to get frustrated when they continued to bleed out when she was trying to do the manicure. I’m almost certain she mixed in my blood with the nail polish she was applying which is extremely unhygienic. All she did was kept on apologising, however it didn’t mean much as she just continued to damage my fingers. Furthermore, the paint job wasn’t great either and there are some uneven points and bubbles. Not impressed at all. Do not go here."
"Sat down was quite happy talking with my friend. Told them strictly no cutting (my toe nails are prone to infections and ingrowns) she did not cut the nail itself but my skin around my nail to give it a more natural shape apparently. I bled, it hurt and now one of my toes is infected and still sore 24 days later. Within 3 days of having a pedicure I noticed on my pinky toe that the colour has come off but not only the paint but the majority of my actual nail as well. Didn't notice no pain nothing. Now onto my manicure. I asked the lady 4 times to fix it and make my nails short and round . She did not listen. They were uneven, some were actually crooked and leaning to the side. They look like reverse tears. I got a $50 gift card for birthday with 2 different expiry dates (1 in 4months and the other in 6 months) highly confusing. I paid with that but then was charged $57 for a manicure set I was not happy about. 2 times I've been here and both times something has happened. Never going back. Edit: it was over 2 months before the strong antibiotics worked. It was infected twice right after stopping the medication and when the nails were done. Very unhygienic place."
"Went in to get an infill for my nails… the ladies instead took off all my nails, while removing them also ruined my natural nails. They were so rough and even when I flinched because of how much it hurt they continued to disregard my pain and kept ripping my nails in half. To top it all off my nails kept getting delayed because they’d make me wait while they served other people just to keep them in the store. Over all not happy at all with this experience and would recommend others don’t go here."
"I am definitely not impressed with this business, i have been there twice, and both times were a disappointment. The first time i went in for an infill, i was charged $40 (a reasonable price, therefore the reason i went back the second time), however i originally had blue nails then infilled to a off white, but still had spots of the original blue, and i didn’t realise until i got home to Newcastle. The second time i went, i was left waiting for 30 mins with half my nails removed, while she had to attend to another client that was waiting for 20 minutes. They filed down my nails until they went red raw, i kept flinching as it hurt and told her she’s filed down my mail to far, yet kept filing them and now are very saw to touch, and yet i still have the original blue left over from two nail designs ago. And i was charged $70 for an infill for a basic colour. WASTE OF MONEY"
