"Great service for a quiet night of the week (Mon). Cleaning needs to improve between showings. But to compete with rival cinemas, new seating needs to be installed in all rooms."
"Although definitely a relic of its time (the cinema was well and truly showing it’s 30+ year age), the service from staff was fantastic, the seats were comfortable, and although the screens were relatively small by modern standards, I’d have no hesitation returning to Hoyts at Penrith"
"My experience here wasn't bad. Wasn't really good either. There was a bad small inside the movie halls. The screen was decent although I'd prefer something bit bigger or wider. The seats some of them seem to have stains too. Yap there sure is lots of improvements that can be done to this place"
"A great place to take the family or for a date night. There are many cinema's and times for viewings. Variety is great and food is available to purchase. This is wheelchair accessible and has an elevator, in the cinema's there are areas for wheelchairs to fit in on the first level. I would recommend calling ahead. The added arcade games is great when waiting for a movie, it keeps the kids distracted and adds another cool perk to going to the cinema. The food is VERY expensive, overpriced, which is excessive when the tickets are quite expensive for a family. The range is good, you are able to purchase popcorn, frozen drinks, chocolates, lollies and ice cream. The bundle deals associated with different movies including a novelty cup can be cute and although expensive nice as a once off. Overall quite good however some staff unimpressed/not helpful- there good ones did make up for this. The front desk were cheerful and helpful. I do think in peak times that more staff needs to be employed as I can see that they run thin and need more assistance. This could be cleaned better after each movie, sweeping/cleaning the popcorn a little bit better. Overall it wasn't horrible but in higher traffic times an extra 5 mins of clean up could go a long way. The seats should be disinfected better every night as they definitely have a smell!"
"Visiting from SA. We went the xtreme screen at a cost of $25/ticket, to say I was underwhelmed is an understatement! The screen wasn't extreme in size. The seats were basic, and in poor condition, no recliners at all! Our local cinema in SA, similar socio-economic area, has a Titan Luxe theatre with full recliners, table, less seating, larger screen at $17/ticket. Had to fill my own frozen drink- pay at one station, collect cup at another station (a la drive through without a car) then fill the cup elsewhere. The toilets were disgraceful, so old, outdated and in poor condition. No hooks on the door of the toilets- where are handbags suppose to sit? On the dirty floor?? I do feel for the workers, such filthy disrespectful movie viewers leaving trash everywhere! This place needs to come into the modern day."
