Reviews
"Have had a terrible experience with MBC with an especially rude receptionist. After hearing multiple horrific reviews on Facebook French bull dog groups on how you have treated customers or surgery issues, who have also seemingly mentioned that their reviews have been deleted on Google. Very surprising that you have been open since 2009 yet only have like 3 negative reviews. Would definitely not recommend anyone to take their precious pups for any surgeries or consultations here. Furthermore, you have branded yourself as a bulldog specialist to capitalise on the large number of people who own Brachycephalic breeds, yet there are a number of specialist vets who just don’t have the word “bulldog” in them. If you’re looking for a different vet, I’ve heard raving reviews from other bulldog owners about Dr Bob Ultimate Vets Narre Warren. Please do your research."
"I cannot even describe the relief and the immense gratitude we have for the wealth of knowledge that MBC have, and for their willingness to help as much as possible for the health of all pets. After standard protocols hadn't helped our French Bulldog, MBC consulted with our vet and provided them with breed specific specialist advice and once our puppy commenced this protocol she improved by 95% within 24hrs and has since made a full recovery. MBC have a genuine care and compassion and they dedicate their time to educating owners and vets and have literally made the world of difference to our Bella. Without MBC and our open-minded vet, we would no doubt have spent a fortune on complex investigations that would not have yielded any results and Bella would still be miserable and unwell."
"My husband and I cannot speak more highly of Melbourne Bulldog Clinic and for all of the hard work that they do to educate the public about brachycephalic dogs and fair breeding practices. Our French Bulldog, Taco had BOAS Surgery (5/5) in February 2022. She continues to show significant benefits from the surgery, especially when playing with other French Bulldog friends that have not had the surgery. For example, she has a far better exercise tolerance, makes much less noise, and has no reflux/foaming at the mouth - many of Taco's Frenchie friends struggle with these. Taco has minimal snoring and sleeps through the night. Melbourne Bulldog Clinic's advice was that Taco would benefit from 5/5 BOAS Surgery and that couldn't have been more true. We recommend the team at Melbourne Bulldog Clinic without hesitation."
"My French Bulldog had BOAS surgery at MBC and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Their staff, expertise, facilities and follow-up were absolutely exceptional. The surgery exponentially improved the quality of life of my precious dog. Highly recommend!"
