"Apartment had bare minimum for more than a weekend stay. There was no heat in the apartment and it was cold on arrival! we asked for a space heater and they provided one quickly. There was no food storage containers or basics like salt and pepper. The apartment was worn and not well care for and not as clean as other apartments we have stayed. Location was great, but wouldn’t bookAstra again. Had a similar issue with Astra in Perth not well cared for apartments."
"12 month tenant, Jasper building. St Margaret staff were excellent, always helpful. Location is amazing with Woolies next door, cheese shop below and countless bars and restaurants. Apartment is roomy and don't have problems with noisy neighbours above or below. Things to be aware of: busy and loud crowds at the Beresford on the weekend, pantry moths are common but cockroaches are not (the building is sprayed regularly but you have to pay to have your apartment included), the mission across the street houses many troubled people so be aware of emergency vehicles and sometimes shouting obscenities in the middle of the night. On the street side sunlight is limited because it is blocked by the buildings across the street. So all in all, mixed feelings about leaving. You will have fun here!"
