"Best place to live in terms of transport and amenities: bus, light rail, and trains to city. Just off Paramatta Rd & Old Canterbury Rd. Plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes, a local GP, pharmacy, IGA and liquorland all within walking distance to Summer Hill. There is a Village Convenience Store just downstairs that opens from morning to late midnight. Also, note that there is an inevitable noise pollution coming from planes, trains and light rail but didn't really bother us as we are living in Sydney city afterall."
"I remember when I lived in Lewisham back in 2008, they sent out surveys and asked the people in Summer Hill and Lewisham if they wanted these apartments built and the majority said No, but they went ahead with it anyway. These high rises are going to kill the area, when I go past on the train they don't even fit in with the character of the area. All the other buildings are Victorian Era, Federation Era houses, this just sticks out like a bunch of giant ugly towers."
