"You will find Hilltop Pizza at the top end of Main Street which is fitting, as the pizzas top all other local places. The thin crust bases are just right, the toppings are always generous, the Nutella Pizza is incredible! The pricing is decent & they are quick to get your order up."
"Change of management has resulted in drop in quality. Collected take away gourmet seafood only to find a black long hair on top of it. Noticed staff removing from oven and boxing wear no hair covering or masks. Another surprise today they now add a surcharge for electronic payment. What a cheap cash grab!"
"Ordered pizza tonight, was told half an hour. Came to get it and the kid (honestly he looked about 14) had absolutely no idea what was going on, he told me the pizza item we ordered "wasn't on the menu" and therefore not ready. The other pizza wasnt there either. So they had nothing for us and no order written down as far as i could see (neither could the kid) absolutely appalling service! There was an older man there who should have been helping these 2 young kids who were trying their best and the boy serving me was very stressed out. I saw another customer get a refund and there was another 4 or 5 waiting a long time and getting frustrated and I saw someone else walk out too. I ended up telling him not to worry about it and left. I will NOT ever be returning! I would rather drive 15 minutes to get good pizza than have something like this happen again. My 4 year old was very upset as he was really looking forward to pizza. Luckily there's a fish and chip shop next door! I do not recommend hilltop pizza monbulk!!!!"
"With a number of friends on a Saturday evening we ordered pizza and pasta from here. Two of our pizzas were completely forgotten about, we ended up with an additional pizza we didn't order, and the food was lukewarm to the point where the microwave was resorted to. We asked for additional pineapple on a Hawaiian and it was what you would expect from a Hawaiian without extra topping. One pasta dish had the pasta so over-boiled that it had no flavour and was very runny, the other pasta dish (carbonara) was stone cold and had congealed sauce."
