"Unfortunately since some month only money focused, no cleaning and once you gonna leave and there is no cleaning stuff to you you’ll be fined… that’s a joke! Hope they change it soon otherwise think double before booking a room, as it is not worth what you pay for it!"

"I was supposed to stay 3 months and I stayed 9! And I was very happy at Jacks Place! I arrived before Lock down and living in a share accommodation was the best thing. I made friends, they taught me how the country works, job indication, company in quarantine. At first it scares me, I thought: what would it be like to live with a lot of people and share a kitchen and bathroom !? Just remember that it is a share accommodation, if everyone collaborates the environments will always be clean! And when compared to the old buildings in Australia, it looks great! But, in the end you live with almost the same people, and if you don't want to socialize just stay in your room, you have your privacy. But most surrender to good conversation at the end of the day! In addition, the pleasant atmosphere, the location, the good price and the manager is worth the stay! ;)"

"The place is close to the market and the train station. The rooms are small but the terrace is absolutely gorgeous. The manager is always really helpful as well! A mini fridge and a fan in the room would have definitely made the life easier!"

"I enjoy staying in here. The location is perfect; the train station is pretty close and you can find any thing you need anytime in the neighbourhood. Very clean generally, especially bathroom and common areas compared with the other hostels. The manager Lais is very friendly and ready to help all the time. On the other hand, they just provide 10 gb Internet package which is not close enough. I wish no carpet in the room which is old and dusty."

"Small rooms, small kitchen, great roof space, if you're a student you'll love the people, great location for price, very easy to get into city centre/beaches. It's not perfect but if you're a student/intern looking for a cheapish place to stay with your own room it's hard to beat. Also you can upgrade to unlimited internet for $10/week extra."
