"Quick dinner. Good choice. A little expensive but great service."
"It might appear like any other sushi train joint but in my view it is far superior to any others I have tried in Sydney. Always seem to be new and interesting variations on the train. This week some warm (unusual for sushi!) prawns with creamy and quite spicy (for Japanese) sauced prawns. My fave is prob the salmon rolls with scallop 'hats'. These are the most expensive at $5.50 but 5 plates came to $25 for the best interesting and quick 15min. meal in Sydney. Its a quick 6-7min walk from Newtown station, so better for me to hop off there for quick snack on way to something in the city rather than try to find better alternatives there (you won't). Highly recommended for value, speed & quality."
"Chicken karaage don tastes amazing and is incredibly cheap ($8.8). Great value for money."
"A small sushi train near Newtown station. Staff is all Korean and maintains high hygiene in the store. Sushi is made fresh and sushi train offers various range of dishes. Price ranges from $3.5-5.5. No cards surcharges for over $10 payments."
"Sushi wow - relatively close to the train station (under 10 mins). There isn’t too much seating inside so there was quite a wait to get in, but I think it was relatively worth it. The staff were pretty polite and welcoming and were quite attentive with cleaning and making sure we had enough water. The food was pretty good in my eyes. I have tried better sushi places but it’s not too bad. The ratio of rice to toppings to sauces was good. It’s also nice that you’re seated right in front of the chefs so you can see them making the food. Only thing I don’t like so much is that most of the seating is side-by-side rather than facing each other."
