Rosemeadow Pharmacy

"Hello, I went into Rosemeadow Pharmacy at around 6:10pm on June 14th and whilst I was there getting the items I needed, I came across one of the managers (her name is Louise) speaking down and rudely to one of the young men working. She was speaking to him in a rude and condescending manor in the middle of the store for other employees and customers such as myself to see and hear. She was essentially bullying this young man, saying things like, “You don’t tell me how to do my job” and “Speak properly, I can’t understand you” in a rude and vicious manor. After the young man was dismissed from the conversation, he came over to the counter to scan my items, and I asked him if the woman was his manager. He said ‘yes’. I put my items to the side, and decided that I needed to speak to the manager woman about how she treats her employees. When I found Louise, I told her (in a polite manor mind you) that I didn’t think it was appropriate to be speaking to her employees in the way she did… her response was “did you hear what he said to me?” She immediately became defensive and her voice became raised. I explained to her that I overheard her conversation, and I understood that she was frustrated with the young man, but that is no excuse to bully another person, who is clearly trying to learn (he didn’t even have a uniform yet). She then began to become argumentative and upset with me before defaulting to the fake smile and condescending tone just saying ‘yes’ to all of the issues and concerns I was trying to raise, without actually showing any remorse or understanding to what I was trying to communicate. In the end, I asked for her name, and am now looking for a way to contact her superiors, because workplace bullying and intimidation is completely unacceptable. Everybody deserves to feel safe, and valued in their work environment, even people still learning. My apologies that this review was so long, however I just can’t let this type of behaviour go unnoticed. If anyone could help me get into contact with the owners of the pharmacy so I can take this matter further, it would be much appreciated. Thank you :)"
