Reviews
"The lady in charge is super cute. She gave us free cookies and it was a nice and filling meal for cheap:)"
"Edit: Really have to change this glowing review, quality has taken a massive hit in the past year or so. Sorry! Nowadays this place is very mid. It's fine but no big deal. It's no restaurant, but probably my favourite sushi stand in Sydney. Sizes are great, fish-to-rice ratio unbelievably generous, just had the karaage today which is also great. Prices that seem dear are a real bargain when you see the fish ratio inside. Also appear to be the only sushi stand that can make brown rice edible, let alone delicious, which is a real feat! There are a couple of seats and high chairs, great for post shopping break."
"the food was incredible and the service was amazing. that old lady (owner or owner) was lovely and kind, the price was reasonable for the portions, the ratio between meat and rice was great, recommended."
"Good for its value! I loved the pork katsu bento!! It was crispy and not dry. The chicken teriyaki bento was good too. The salad was really fresh and dressing nice."
"Probably great for the value side of things, taste wise wasn’t that great. Ordered the chicken teriyaki bento ($14) - comes with teriyaki salmon with rice, 2 salmon nigiri, 2 pieces of rolls (tuna and california), miso soup and salad. Chicken teriyaki was pre prepared in a food warmer. Chicken was a tad dry and chewy. Salmon nigiri had too much rice whilst the salmon was sliced really thinly. Like I said, you’re really getting what you pay for - if you’re looking for Japanese, want to be filled without paying too much, you’re at the right place."
