"We had an up and down experience dropping in for the first time on Saturday night. Staff were great - friendly, helpful, talked through the gluten free options for my wife. Ordered an entree chicken salad dish and two pizza mains. The entree came out with just the salad and no chicken so the lovely staff took it back and redid the dish. My wife's pizza was somewhere between room temp and cold, as if it had been sitting waiting to be served for 30 mins and had to go back to be reheated My pizza was lukewarm. Overall impression was that the food had been waiting around to be served because staff were busy (we did wait about 30 mins for it to ask come out) Once the setbacks were sorted the food was quite good. Especially liked mine (see pic). Restaurant was busy without being packed and they were doing a good take out trade it looked like. Highlight was trying to figure out if the younger couple sitting beside us were on a first date or breaking up. Added perfectly to the "unusual" time we were having. Tldr; Great wait staff, food very good when sorted, question on the kitchen because all our issues are around the food presentation."
"We ordered over the phone and the staff member was lovely! We googled the menu, placed our order and when we arrived (at a pre-requested time), our pizzas were ready on the dot! Fresh ingredients, thin bases…lovely! A new family winner! Thanks and welcome to Carnegie!"
"With an abundance of amazing Asian food options in the Koornang Road restaurant hub, this is a welcome addition to the mix. There are already several pizza joints but the only other option for sit-down pizza and pasta is Gabriella which is (and will remain) a Carnegie institution. Pizza Religion offers something a bit more upscale and is a good option for bigger groups with a larger seating space. I’ve tried the capricciosa, pepperoni and prosciutto pizzas and all were delicious thanks to the high-quality ingredients. The pepperoni was definitely the stand out! As of last night they’ve also started serving pasta. We had the pumpkin ravioli which was really tasty. The owners are very friendly and you can tell they really care about the opinions of their customers and making their business a success."
"Fancy pizza place in Carnegie with fresh ingredients. I got the capricciosa and it was quite a fancy take on it. The pizza was solid but considering the price I paid I think it was slightly too salty and the crust could be better. I’d describe the pizza as good, but not good enough to justify the extra cost. Expect to spend ~$25 for a pizza here."
