"I don't generally write reviews but I couldn't help myself this time. Every aspect of our experience, from the remarkable service to the top-notch quality of finishings, left us in awe. Let me start with the service – it was beyond exceptional. The staff at The Sebel Malvern truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to our every need. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were met with genuine warmth and a willingness to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attentiveness to our preferences and their friendly demeanour created an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation that set the tone for our entire stay. The quality of the finishings in our apartment was a testament to the attention to detail that The Sebel Malvern prides itself on. The interior design was a harmonious blend of sophistication and comfort. It's evident that no expense was spared in creating an ambiance that exudes luxury. Speaking of space, the size of the apartment was beyond impressive. With a family of four, including two kids, having ample room to move around and relax is crucial. The spacious living areas and bedrooms provided us with the perfect retreat. It was a delight to see the kids enjoying the extra space and having their own comfortable beds – it made our stay feel like a true home away from home. And let's not forget the breathtaking views that awaited us. The vistas from our apartment were absolutely captivating, offering a stunning backdrop of both the bay and the racecourse. It added a touch of magic to our stay that truly elevated our entire experience."

"It's a very nice service apartment. The rooms are very spacious. There aren't many food/cafe options around but the location is convenient for my purposes (visiting Monash Caulfield). Having said that, I would book something closer to the city if it wasn't a business trip."

"I’ve previously stayed at these apartments but this time I was placed in a room that faced onto Dandenong Rd. Like other reviews have noted, the sound is excessive and it’s really not a good sign when the hotel is providing ear plugs for guests. The room was well appointed with all the amenities I needed for my 3 night stay. I didn’t use any of the facilities, except the car park which is $10 per night. I should highlight that I found the car parks pretty narrow, so there’s a high chance some idiot will hit your car with their door, so those driving larger SUVs should be warned. There is a huge population of students in the building, and most floors appear to be a mix of residential and hotel apartments, so you have a mixture of odd smells. On my last night my apartment had a odd sewage type smell. The bed isn’t that great, it’s comfortable but it’s two singles joint together so you’ve got that annoying gap between the two mattresses."

"The most shocking hotel to stay. The manager is very rude and not nice, especially to staff. I’m shocked this place is still able to operate, the building has a very weird smell, especially when you first exist the elevators on your floor, rooms are not cleaned properly, the bed is very itchy to sleep on and overall the room is just not comfortable. I hope higher management comes to rescue this place before it is shut down! And to the manager currently working there, be nicer to your staff, they are trying their best."

"By far the worst Accor hotel I stayed in! As an Accor gold member, I stayed in numerous Accor hotels all around Australia and in the world. I cannot fathom how this place is called a Sebel! I booked months in advance, correspondence was shockingly poor in customer service, they practically misinformed me about what an accor gold membership benefits entail, didn’t offer or honour early check in, late check out and welcome drink. Didn’t want to offer a room upgrade but they did in the end however the room is fairly basic, wasn’t clean enough and lacked most basic utilities. The internet was slow and kept dropping off. Reception generally was unhelpful and unfriendly. Parking situation was a mess. Corridor had a terrible stench. It was rather difficult to get the rooms cleaned. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend this so called hotel to anyone. Wouldn’t surprised me if Accor cleans out the entire workforce to replace them and rebrands it or just sell it to another provider. Stay away!"
