Peppers Docklands Melbourne

"Check in was a breeze and staff very friendly. We booked a peppers king with balcony based on the photos from the main website. Whilst the room itself was exactly as the photos, the view was not. We had a construction site for ours instead of the advertised river view. When I expressed this to staff we were informed that those photos are 6 years old ! A misrepresentation of what your paying for. This includes the pool which is actually in an adjacent building that you need someone to take you. We were also informed on several occasions that as we had booked at a "discount rate" (through our accorr membership go figure) that housekeeping would not be conducted. Finally on our second last day we managed to get a replacement bed (mattress was failing on one side) and fresh towels. Again staff not to blame maybe management need to see what other hotels include. To have one set of towels no room service or housekeeping and four coffee pods for a 7 night stay is underwhelming."

"Great stay at Peppers! Very good sized room, had all the conveniences one expects of a proper hotel. I also want to call out the service as being great: advice on what to do, how to handle the trans, cleaning service when needed, and genuinely nice. The location is unique being right next to Marvel Stadium, but that added to our enjoyment of the weekend!"

"Stayed at Peppers Docklands recently for work; was a great space and a comfy space to rest! Stayed here recently for work and was really impressed. Downstairs bar and kitchen was new and modern. Staff were helpful (despite my late night checkin) and I was swiftly up to my room in the fourth floor. Room itself was spacious and comfortable. Showers and amenities were of a really great standard. Shower nice and hot in the morning with plenty of water pressure too! The bed itself was super comfortable as well, definitely aiding in a great night sleep. Nothing really to report in terms of negatives I experienced. Perhaps only feedback would be incorporating USB charging bed side, but honestly that’s a first world problem. Would happily stay here again in the future."

"The hotel is located in a really beautiful spot near the harbour. However it is an under developed area with not too many restaurants and cafes. The hotel bar only operates on weekends. So there is a bit to work on for the hotel."

"Meh.. That’s how I would sum up our stay. $409 will get you a nice bed, and half decent room. Our room wasn’t available until 2:30pm when check in was 2pm. Got to our room and our TV had no sound. We rang reception and he said someone will come up and fix it whilst we went out for 2hrs came back and TV wasn’t fixed so had to ring them again. Also upon checking in, was informed they had no parking available, so had to go find our own parking which was about a 5 min drive. No close restaurants, construction everywhere around the building. Very limited TV channels. No Netflix, Stan or anything. No room service Also they hold a $100 deposit, apparently doesn’t get released from their end for 48hours, then can take another 5 for the banks to release it. Yeah definitely wouldn’t stay again"
