"I witnessed a young employee selling a customer a gold fish bowl (any responsible person knows this is giant red flag) I asked her how many litres the bowl was and she didn’t even know. She came back to me and told me it was 20L like that was a good thing. Gold fish require around 80L, which the employee mustn’t know because surely no one with a conscience could deliberately sell a living breathing being knowing it’s living conditions will inevitably end in a premature death."
"Staff are always so friendly. Range of pets (and supplies) for cats, dogs, birds, fish, rodents (rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and rats). The cats/kittens are often from rescue shelters. They also do more niche pets like hermit crabs, stick insects, tarantulas and scorpions."

"After visiting a different pet store selling puppies a few days ago, and seeing the truly heartbreaking conditions, I felt compelled to write a review on Peta and her team, even though I got my furbabies over 4 years ago. When I got my puppies, I was given super clear guidelines on how to take care of them, when to treat for worms, flea and ticks, how to clean their ears and brush their teeth, what to feed them and how often.... etc. They were in large enclosures with buddies, food, water and toys. They are clearly taken care of. Great experience!! Fast forward 4.5 years, I have two incredible, loving, and healthy furbabies."
