"Clean bathrooms. Location was solid for getting around in quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately my room was under the dining area and by the laundry, which made sleeping difficult. Cockroach in room. At one point they double booked my room and a staff member came in to check on if the room was filled while I was sleeping. Breakfast was extensive but eggs were cold. Also the walls were thin and I was awoken to the sound of my neighbors loud conversation and barking dog. Nice terrace, clean towels, friendly enough staff. Unfortunately due to my experience I would not recommend."

"Hey guys/to all people out there, Never ever book at this accommodation! As based on my worst experience at this place, I would never ever coming back to your accommodation again! Poor service and annoyance were my experience. Air-conditioning not working, and you asked me if I would like to move to an another room and to pay extra $$$. Are you out of your mind?! What kind of customer service is that? Would not recommend you and your place to my family/friends and other people. Would gove you 0 star, and negative feed on your website.!!"

"We stayed here some years ago (family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children). The room itself was very small, which wasn't a real problem as we where out most of the time. The facilities where great with washing machines available and the breakfast was amazing value. The only reason I have marked down was the small room and very limited parking- everything else was perfect along with the great location. Would stay here again if in the area and would defiantly recommend."

"I've given a 5-star rating based on value for money. This is by no means a "5-star hotel", but they do very well with what they have and I saw only high standards of cleanliness. Absolute back to basics accommodation in a fantastic near-city location. No frills whatsoever, but very clean and quiet. I was in a single room with a shared bathroom and during my three days only had to wait for bathroom access one time, for about a minute. The staff are friendly and helpful, and reception hours are long (7:00-22:00). The rooms aren't serviced every day, but there's really no need and they're completely upfront about that. A two-minute walk to the nearest ferry stop, which is then a mere six minutes to Circular Quay (unless you get on a bit early and take a 10 minute mini harbour loop tour round Neutral Bay - and why not?!). Indescribable views across the harbour towards the city and Opera House from under the Bridge on the North shore. Great restaurants and cafes a short 10 minute (very uphill) walk away. The breakfast (included if you book direct online) is substantial and only lacking in fresh fruit and maybe some more gourmet bread - sourdough, for example. Pretty much what you expect of a buffet / bain-marie service, so not gourmet but definitely adequate for getting through most of the day. Very safe feel to the area, I had a late night return and felt just fine despite being solo. Of course the PM is a near neighbour so plenty of Feds cruising the streets. I'll definitely do a repeat visit if I ever get back to Sydney."
