Darcys Hotel

"I stayed here for 7 nights during the Women's World Cup tournament. It is a 'home away from home' kind of place. About 7-minutes walk from Homebush train station, it's located in a quiet suburban and leafy area. Was a bit worried about finding food but was pleasantly surprised to find Chinese, Lebanese, Indian and Korean restaurants nearby. An important thing to note is the close proximity to Accor Stadium (about 2 stations away is Lidcombe, whereby you can take the train at Platform 0 to Olympic Park). The hotel is about 30 minutes or so by train from the city centre and you can easily get to Circular Quay (Sydney Opera House). A little shoutout to Andrew who waited up for me when I came back at 1 am due to train issues after one of the games and housekeeper Tilly's (hope I spelled her nane right) very helpful as well. Would defo return."

"I stayed at Darcy's Hotel for three days and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience! The owner, a true gentleman, runs the place with such care and attention to detail, and the staff were incredibly kind and patient. They really took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and happy during my stay. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a vintage-style decor and a charming garden that I loved spending time in. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an elegant vintage decor and a lovely garden. The rooms are spacious and fresh, with a pleasant scent throughout, and I particularly appreciated the large and comfortable bed, as well as the convenient air conditioning. One of the best things about Darcy's Hotel is its location - it's so convenient for getting around the city, with both the train and bus stations just a stone's throw away. If you're coming to Sydney for a concert or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying at Darcy's Hotel - I know I'll definitely be back again!"

"The best value for money you could buy! I stayed in a single king size bedroom and the room was huge! It was incredible. So much large than any 'basic" room I've ever been in. Comfy bed, working ac, huge wardrobe and tv. The location is close to Homebush station and only 30 minutes from the CBD. Friendly owner who helped me check in and made sure to give me individualized attention to help me. Overall very amazing hotel, only downside is not having a private bathroom for the single room but wasn't an issue due to the fact it was clean and had a large amount of shampoo, conditioner and body wash to use! Will definitely stay there again when I'm back in Sydney"

"Darcy's was a stunning place to stay, gorgeous old building well maintained, comfy beds, beautiful gardens, icy cold A/C, perfect to come back to after a concert. Only 'complaint' I would have liked if the bathroom wasn't shared but definitely not a deal breaker. Absolutely loved our stay here, would 100% stay here again. Thank you!"
