Crossroads Hotel

"Hi Mr mark. The owner of the cross roads hotel. This review is especially for you. In response to my sister in laws review she made 3months ago, you responded to her with false claims claim that “we were not willing to pay” to secure the venue as it is a “requirement to book a room. For your information we were more then willing too pay the booking fee and we tried to many times via email which we were told to call and do over the phone in which we did. Only to be told by your staff member “Sorry, it looks like someone called yesterday and booked that room unfortunately it’s no longer available. My mother in law called to discuss this further with you directly to which she was met with no apologies just back and forth rudeness on your behalf. So tell me Mr mark, if it’s a requirement to pay a fee to secure the booking of a room, why did I receive an email today on the 23 or august with new and upgraded venue menus and when I promptly responded to Tanika stating why we no longer required the venue she then responded with “sorry to hear that, let me go ahead an cancel your booking”…3 months I held a booking without a single deposit. I also told her how is that possible when I was told we could no longer have that room as it was taken? Please explain why you can’t just admit your staff stuffed up somewhere on the booking system and apologies for the inconvenience and for making out it was our fault. We’ve taken our business elsewhere with more attractive rates and packages along with professional service which your staff and yourself denied us of."

"There are awful workers here, especially those on floor!!! I begged a worker for tartare sauce (for my darling son) and they COMPLETELY ignore my request!!! And started clearing the tables by me, creating a huge ruckus during my meal. I asked kindly for the manager, to which the staff rudely declined. This was appalling!!!. At the end, we ended up paying for our order and getting our food as take away. Management, fix this at once or I WILL call your supervisors."

"Food was acceptable, very busy food line and long wait to order but staff going flat out. The fellow playing guitar was good artist but far too loud for eating area, as you couldn't talk with anyone only those directly beside you.. those across table could only smile at each other until he finished song..bit annoying as found out for tea a central location to catchup with family"
