About the Business
Welcome to Mowbray Park FarmStay, located in the picturesque town of Picton, Australia. Our establishment offers a unique lodging experience that combines comfortable accommodations with immersive farm activities.
At Mowbray Park FarmStay, we believe that farm activities are at the heart of the experience. Children and adults alike will love our animal nursery, where they can interact with a variety of animals. From donkeys to goats, chickens to small animals, there is always something new and exciting to see. Depending on the time of year, the nursery is filled with different small animals, providing a constantly changing and engaging experience.
We take pride in showing our guests how to gently connect with the animals, allowing for a meaningful and educational experience. Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the feeding process, ensuring that both you and the animals feel comfortable and safe.
But Mowbray Park FarmStay is more than just a place to interact with animals. We have a rich history that dates back to the early days of European settlement in Australia. As you explore the property, you'll be surrounded by the beauty of the land and the echoes of the past. It's a truly immersive experience that allows you to connect with nature and history in a meaningful way.
Currently, we are having an incredible season with many new and beautiful calves being born. Our Speckle Park Bull has been producing calves with stunning markings, adding to the charm of the farm. Additionally, we have welcomed new lambs and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new milking cow. The farm is buzzing with activity, and there's always something new to discover.
As we welcome 2023, we are excited to continue our farming endeavors. With the wet season hopefully behind us, we are back out in the fields, tending to our cattle and crops. Our cattle numbers are steadily climbing, and we are committed to providing a sustainable and thriving farm environment.
Whether you're looking for a unique family vacation or a peaceful retreat in the countryside, Mowbray Park FarmStay offers an unforgettable experience. Immerse yourself in farm life, connect with nature, and create lasting memories. Book your stay with us today and embark on an adventure like no other.

"The rooms are cold. 3 rooms 2 heaters. Toilet has no heater and we were there in winter. The interior is old and the dining table was shaky. But it was good fun for the kids. Would have been better if they provided more activities. Some were BYO including linens and towels. No food too."
"I've just returned home from the most wonderful weekend camping at Mowbray Park. I took my 18 month old and he had an incredible experience, riding on the tractor and feeding all of the much loved animals. Hannah and Alissia are so friendly and great with the kids and I learnt a life skill with bread making on the fire. We will definitely be back and recommend for a wholesome weekend away from the City."
"We have come back from Australia for more than half a year, my 3 years old daughter still remember the two friendly dogs, Hachi and Pearl and miss the days in the farm very much. It was really a fantastic experience for kids grown up in city. This place is in my “must go” recommendation list for my friends who is going to Sydney with family."
"The animals are well cared for, very very friendly staff as well. There was never a dull moment when I did my work placement with them. Each room is cleaned and sanitized appropriately. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away from modern life, about a 10 minute drive from main towns, you truely get a country feel. I loved my experience with them all."
"Booked a small getaway last week at Mowbray Farm and weren't expecting much other then a quiet place the kids could enjoy and hopefully run around without damaging anything. Blair and Jacqui were the loveliest hosts you could ever ask for. Polite, kind, warm smiles and EXTREMELY hospitable. My mother who lives with Multiple Sclerosis came with us and they were so accomodating to her needs. Blair made the effort of organising a buggy to take her back to our accomodation when we were at the nursery as she couldn't walk back up the hill. The young lady who drove the buggy even wiped the seat dry for her as it was raining which was so sweet and funny as she didn't have a cloth and did it with her clothes ahahha Kids loved the hands on nursery experience and pony rides and we enjoyed the pure serenity and calm of waking up to such beautiful views. Kids also loves their super friendly dogs Archie and Pearl !!! Thank you so much for your generous smiles and hospitality."
