ESCAPE PIZZERIA

"Worst pizza and worst service I've ever had. I go to this RSL regularly and love it, but whilst the RSL and the Bistro are great, this pizzeria is horrible. I ordered a Casa de Ullie pizza, a halloumi salad and a serve of the ribs. The girl who served me was huffing and puffing that she was too busy and it took a long time to order, then once I did, we still had nothing after 40 minutes. We could see a sad looking salad sitting under the warming lights for about 30 mins, but didn't realise it was ours as they didn't set off the buzzer. Another 10 mins went past and the buzzer went off, so we collected everything. The halloumi salad was dry from sitting under the lights, but worse than that, the halloumi was raw and hadn't been heated at all. It's not fetta, it needs to be cooked, so it was like rubber and inedible. I let that go and tried the pizza, which, after 1 unpleasant bite, I realised was covered in chilli con carne and was a Mexican one - not the one I ordered and had waited almost an for. I went to the window with the pizza and told the chef that this was the wrong pizza. He then proceeded to lie to me and tell me I was wrong and the Mexican chilli con carne was actually ham and sausage... when I told him I could tell the difference and this was a Mexican pizza, he YELLED at me that I was wrong and I should get out of his face. His colleague was looking at me, very embarrassed, and proceeded to tell me, and the yelling 'chef', that I was right and he had made a mistake and made the wrong pizza. I told the chef who yelled at me that he should check things before he yells at customers and tells them they're wrong and he continued to yell and rage at me! I asked for a Manager and a refund, we gave all of the wrong food back and left to eat elsewhere. Complete waste of time, terrible food and absolutely disgusting service. That 'chef' shouldn't be working at a McDonalds, let alone running a busy section of an RSL - especially with that bad attitude, lack of time management skills, lack of cooking skills and complete cluelessness about customer service."
