Reviews of Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail
"The trail is only 2 km long but nice. We were the only once that were there. We didn’t walk back the beach way because it was really wet and we didn’t wear the right shoes."
"Lovely walk through the bogs and beach, perfect to get away from everything and enjoy the wilderness of the area. Very well preserved boardwalk, the signs offer information about the plants and animals in the area."
"Really nice walk on the boards and the beach,,just 2K in total. If it's calm look out for the midges."
"An absolutely beautiful place to walk. Walk along the boardwalk and back across a pebble beach if the tide is low. Level walkway suitable for everyone. Catch a glimpse of a sea Eagle living in the area. On a beautiful autumn evening it was so nice we went back the next day for a morning walk."
"Lovely little walk, particularly on the board walk itself. The board walk would be wheelchair and buggy friendly. The second half of the walk is along a stone and rocky shoreline as well as sea weed and plenty of shells. There is a number of signs telling you about the terrain of the trail and of the wildlife too. It's a nice place and well worth a look at, there's a decent amount of parking too."
