Reviews of Lough Arrow Touring Park
"Cath and john were super nice and friendly. We Felt very and welcome and they were very helpful.cosy and quiet family campsite. The facilities were excellent.clean and comfortable to use. The fishermen camping alongside were an added interesting bonus. Thank you xxx dina and kim"
"As other reviewers have said this really is ‘a little piece of heaven’! Before we’d even arrived Cath and John were providing advice on camping in Ireland and kind support when we had to take an unscheduled detour to Sligo to visit the legendary Peter Motor to get our alternator replaced. When we did eventually arrive it was worth the wait. So tranquil - just birdsong and the hum of a distant tractor, beautiful views and sunshine! The facilities were excellent - clean with plenty of hot water and lots of thoughtful touches. We were even able to order pizza and freshly baked scones delivered to the site! The roads were great for cycling - quiet with better road surfaces than home (Northumberland) We did a Komoot tour to Drumshanbo and lunched at the distillery café - delicious food! A restorative retreat."
"Lovely campsite in a great location overlooking Lough Arrow. Great for fishing, kayaking or paddleboarding. Lovely couple running the site that keep it clean and well run. They have cabins for non tourers as well as a B&B. Probably one of the most peaceful and relaxing sites we've ever been on. We will be back."
"This has been our base for this week, the owners John and Cath are so lovely and very helpful it's been a pleasure to stay. Fantastic facilities best bit for us was having a full cooked breakfast in the club room in the morning before we set out for the day. Only a 14 minutes drive into Boyle and the west coast under an hour."
"John and Cath run the place brilliantly! We were 15 minutes away when one of our campervan's tyre exploded and John came to our rescue! They are the most kind and welcoming people me and my family have ever met! The place is beautiful and tidy. The common room is beautiful and John even lit the fireplace so that we could stay there in the evening watching TV and playing games with our daughters. Definetly worth staying there!"
