Welcome to Little Bears Pre-School, situated in the picturesque village of Murrisk in County Mayo, Ireland. At Little Bears Pre-School, we cater for children aged 2.5 to 5 years old, offering both part-time and full-time options. Our highly experienced and dedicated team of teachers and staff are passionate about working with young children and creating a fun, stimulating and educational environment. We follow the Aistear and Siolta frameworks, which provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to early childhood education.

Our curriculum is carefully designed to help children achieve their developmental milestones and to cultivate a love of learning. We offer a wide range of activities, such as storytelling, music and movement, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and science experiments, to encourage creativity, exploration, and problem-solving. We also provide opportunities for children to learn about other cultures and languages, through music, dance and storytelling from around the world.

We encourage parents to participate in their child's learning journey, through regular communication, parental workshops, and volunteering opportunities. We also provide regular progress reports, so parents can track their child's development.

Our purpose-built facility is located within the National School in Carrowkeel, Murrisk, providing a safe and secure environment for children to learn and play. We have created a warm and welcoming environment, with bright and spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, an outdoor play area, and a sensory garden.
