At our state-of-the-art premises, located at Cluain Mhuire on Monivea Road in Galway, we offer a range of resources and services for filmmakers, students, and film enthusiasts. Our facilities include a modern cinema, sound recording studio, editing suites, meeting and event rooms, and much more.

We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive range of training and educational opportunities for aspiring and emerging filmmakers. Our courses and workshops cover a broad range of topics, from screenwriting and directing to production and distribution. Our experienced tutors and guest speakers come from diverse backgrounds in the industry and bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience to the table.

As well as being a centre of learning, Galway Film Centre is also a hub for film production and exhibition. We are dedicated to promoting and supporting the work of Irish filmmakers, and our annual Galway Film Fleadh is a highlight of the Irish film calendar. This internationally-renowned festival showcases the best new and established talent in Irish and international cinema, and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
