Drumhierny Woodland Hideaway

"I cannot recommend Drumhierny enough, the photos just do not do it justice. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful, the location is stunning. It's really peaceful and while you feel miles away, you're so close to all local amenities just a short walk or drive away. We are just back from a 3 night stay and I am already booking for next year. The lodges are finished to an incredibly high standard and they're dog friendly!"

"Excellent place to stay as a group. Beautiful lodges well decorated and include everything you could want. Lovely woodland walks and a cute cafe with outdoor covered seating and an open fire pit. The seaweed baths and hot ribs are so relaxing and clean. The staff go above and beyond to help and show you around and are all very friendly. Would highly recommend for groups or families. Thanks for a gorgeous weekend."

"We stayed for two nights in Drumhierny just before Christmas, it was one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed and we enjoyed it so much we’ve already booked to go back with family. We traveled here with our young children and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we enjoyed every minute, the staff we dealt with were so polite, chatty and helpful, happy to accommodate my additional requests and give us loads of information on what to do in the area. The “Habitat” lodge we stayed in was incredible, our children loved it there too and it was very “child proof” in comparison to some other places we’ve stayed, lovely and warm, everything you need to eat ordered food or cook yourself. They’re decorate so nicely and have just enough in each room for what you need without being cluttered. The woodland area the lodges are on has loads of wild birds, native trees and nature, it’s such a peaceful place to walk around or just look out the window at. The cafe on site was just what we needed, after some delays getting there we were happy to hear we could order some tasty pizzas for a late lunch. We don’t have a bad thing to say about the location, lodge, staff or anything, it was a really enjoyable stay and just what we needed before Christmas. Looking forward to visiting here many more times."

"Stayed in the Horse Chesnut Lodge for the October bank holiday weekend. From the drive up to reception at the very start of our weekend we knew that we gonna have a great time. The location is like nowhere we have ever stayed, lodges in the middle of the woods spaced out so as you don't feel overlooked and have your privacy. Once we checked in and actually got to see our lodge we were blown away, just everything about them is so nice, really modern and comfortable. We had such a good time we are going to book again soon and already can't wait to be back!"

"This is a real hidden gem. The lodges are beautifully finished and spotlessly clean. Each site is fairly private. The wee cafe is lovely and the pizzas are great. There was nothing to find fault with. Michelle and the team were really pleasant to deal with."
