"This is not a B&B , people are living here - you can see plates etc piled up in the side bedroom window of the house. I guessed it is some kind of hostel/temporary accommodation. I have no issue with that but its not a B&B. The whole place smelled quite strongly of bleach. There were stacks of clean towels etc placed in the hallways - this is not what a B&B does. These were there for long term residents to take I assume as the accommodation didn't seem to be attended at all. There was a hoover also in the hallway for use - again implying people live here (residents live here, not that its a family home) The room I was given had no radiator or source of heating apart from a tiny, toaster sized plug in radiator. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone except someone who was totally stuck. It didn't feel very safe as there was nobody around and people just coming and going. Location is good though."
"Really enjoyed my stay at amber berry. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and had everything I needed large wardrobe, netflix tv, hair dryer, ensuite bathroom, small fridge, tea and coffee maker. The location is incredible as it is just a couple of mins walk to salthill promenade and close to the city. Will definitely be recommending it to anyone looking to stay in Galway."
"Amazing little gem of place. Clean and fresh and has all that you need. Just up the road from Salthill which my 2 year old loves. Owners are very welcoming and dog friendly."

"Booked direct got great rate, room was fantastic (spacious, warm & clean). Efficient friendly welcome when I arrived. I didn't opt for breakfast which is served in the sister guest house next door."
