"Excellent pancakes, best I've had in Galway. Great selection to choose from and the coffee was equally as good. Recommend for a breakfast treat with the kids. I would suggest adding an option to pay for additional pancakes (e.g. €1/€2 whatever per extra pancake) so that you can create larger stacks for those who might be a bit hungrier. Could also look at adding waffles to the menu as well to compliment offerings."
"This place has such potential but fails to deliver. Having not been in this cafe for years, I was surprised to see that it has hardly changed since it changed ownership. The atmosphere is cold. It lacks any sort of cosiness where I felt like I wanted to stay any longer than necessary. The quality of the seating is mediocre at best and the choice of music was just bizarre, ranging from techno to trad. Not something that relaxes you. For the quality of the food I also thought it was quite expensive. The best thing about our experience was the lovely staff member who greeted us. I wish I got her name as she makes the place."
"Pascal is a lovely spot! Withholding the fifth star because the pancakes were not the best I’ve had but they were really good. They have a wide range of options as well. The prices are a little high but comparable to similar spots and the portions are large. I’ll be back to try other menu items!"
"Maybe to go once in a while it's ok but don't think we will be back soon, it wasn't to our taste. First, it is pricy although the portions are super big. We were seated in an unfortunate spot, right in front of the bathroom and besides the door which wasn't great as many people were coming in an out the door and from the bathroom (the upstairs area is nicer). The french toast was nice and very filling but tasted a lot like egg (not sure if that's to be expected?)which i didn't mind, but if you don't like it be mindful of that. The hot chocote was nice, but the Expresso coffee was not good at all completed burnt. Finally, the pancakes were huge but wayyyyy too much Nutella on the top one, would be way nicer with less."
"Been here while I was on my holiday. It was a bit hidden, located in a side-alley in the city centre of Galway. Luckily they had a luring sign, since it was a very positive experience. Very friendly en helpful staff, a good variety of food on the menu en decent pricing. My girlfriend and I had a cappuccino and some tea, both with a different kind of pastry with it and enjoyed it a lot. The bread and pancake dishes which were served to people around us looked great too, but that's a thing we have to try a next time. Great place for lunch and/or a nice cup of coffee."
