"Came in to purchase(in hope) a very specific car seat to fit our travel system as the car seat we had for it was stolen. Employee named Kelly /Kellie assisted me and was more than helpful . Showed great knowledge of the range. And with great perseverance she had, with the use of adapters (no idea they existed ) , found 1 car seat that was a perfect solution . Best customer service I've experienced in ages!"

"The price advertised on the shelf was €5.99. Therefore we bought 2. When we got to the cashier to pay, our total came to €15.99. We mentioned to the cashier that the total given is incorrect. All they said was yeah we need to fix the price on the shelf. No apology. Couldn't care less. Terrible service! We buy at Smyths toys often and are absolutely appalled at the lack of accountability or interest shown."

"I had placed an online order (last stock item) that needed to be collected today, 10th Nov, at the Parkway Limerick store, unfortunately drove 40mins to collect it and was told the item was broken and had to be binned. The staff were lovely, very sympathetic and especially the manager who went above and beyond to help us find a substitute. Genuinely the staff were great and the manger (sorry I forgot to ask his name) was exceptional. Five stars +, thanks"
