"As it was our last night in Galway, we decided to eat at The Western Restaurant where we were staying. Besides the friendly service, the food was fantastic! The Lamb Shank exceeded our expectations! Great Spanish red wine and Irish Whiskey, an early dinner and quiet evening, just what we were looking for."
"It's a great restaurant for couples. Very quiet and nice looks with calm music. We had a great meal here tonight! Very tasty steak, and I had an incredible Creme Brulee. Our waiter Cashel was super friendly and very fast! Friendly staff is always the key for getting your customers leaving the place with a smile om their face. We will certainly come back here again!!"
"Had no idea that they had fine dining until recently, as I had not gone further than the pub side of the place. My parents recommended it after eating there. We hosted a group of about 50 people. Which they catered to smoothly with no issue. Rowena was my point of contact as I planned the event from the states and was absolutely fabulous. She was quick to respond, answered my numerous questions in numerous emails. She promptly introduced herself the night of so that I knew she was there making sure it all went smoothly. The food was AMAZING! Sooo delicious and beautifully served. I had not imagined the food for a large group dinner would be so good. I will add that Rowena gave special attention to a friend of ours who was not feeling well and needed her voice for the next days event - she told us that Rowena kept her supplied with tea, honey, lemon, etc. And apparently she did it all very discreetly because we knew nothing about it until our friend told us the next day!!! I wish I had taken photos of the food as it was so pretty, but was a little distracted and too hungry to do so apparently!!"
