"Visiting in Ennistymon for a few days and sent the children down to pick up takeaway from a couple of places, Franco was an absolute gentleman when one of our girls couldn't get the phone pay to work. "Not for me. Probably my most shocking fast food experience. I've had other bad ones, but this is unfortunately down there with them. I understand that fast food can be greasy. But the fries were not hand cut, came from a bag and were soggy, soft and floppy. The chicken fillet burger was leaking with dark brown grease. I mean grease is one thing, but dark coloured grease? From chicken? Nope. The goopy black grease from the frier was even worse, as it seemed to actually have been scraped off and put on the burger as a sauce, as well as the burger sauce, and gave the food an overall charred and overly salty taste, plus it was so goopy you could feel the texture of it. What else was cooked with that and why was it added to the food as a way of getting rid of it? We were sick after it. The owner was great, really friendly, so it's a shame to give such a harsh review but I would not recommend this particular spot unless you enjoy unattractive and yucky food."

"This used to be a great chipper. Franco is great and entertaining while you wait but unfortunately his food has nose dived. The last time I ate here, there was barely any fish in the prepacked units he was selling. The chips were also from a bag. Any self respecting chipper needs to make their own chips, for me this was unforgivable. A genuinely nice man but the food is very poor. Instead skip across the road to Liscannor takeaway and get some good food."
