"Couldn't ask for nicer grub, friendly service. Great atmosphere, the Chef knows his steak."
"We had a gorgeous breakfast in The Green last Sunday, it was very busy but everyone working there were all working so well, they all work really well together , we will be back"
"Found this amazing place that all eateries should use as a standard for themselves and try and reach its faultless heights. The first thing that hits you is the total cleanliness of every inch of the interior of the building.Toilets look clean and smell clean, the menu is great and there is a great choice too on the kids menu and their deserts and coffee are to die for .It's the kind of place even your mad sister would love.I can only think of one complaint and that is the outside of the building has too much going on and so much so we nearly passed it by.Once inside its totally faultless, staff are all clean ,fresh and well drilled and friendly, it's a big hit with locals and the food looks and tastes so good ,the price isn't too expensive for the quality and home made extras you get.I had beef which was carved very generously and served with proper home made Yorkshire pudding, the veg was also just right. The fish was fresh and well presented and kids options were great. Not a place to miss ,I'm still raving about it a week later and definitely will return when we're in the area, places like this deserve support for the effort they clearly put in."
"We didn't have food, just a coffee and 2 minerals. The coffee was lovely and the minerals came in glass bottles with glasses. It looked to be a popular spot, people coming and going while we were seated outside ( our request) They also have an open window where you can order and take away. Our waitress was lovely, she couldn't do enough for us."
"The vanilla latte was fantastic, one of the best I've had in Ireland (or maybe in general). The French fries were great too, and we got all the Ketchup we wanted. I deducted a star because I said exactly how much I wanted to tip and it was already generous (!), put my phone against the card reader and only saw after we had left that she put a Euro more on the machine than I had said. I tipped three Euros for two coffees and two chips on top of not being told that the vanilla was an extra 0,60 Euros per person. I'd have expected that in a fancy restaurant in Dublin, not in a roadside café in the middle of nowhere. Ouch, lesson learned. I'd go back for the latte but pay in cash next time."
