"Went there for a coffee and it has a very relaxing atmosphere, nice background music, great customer service and a variety of meals, from a snack to a big succulent meal. Very clean and nicely decorated."
"Stayed for a few days with our family just before Easter. Place is easy enough to find and the view is generally amazing. It's an old building that was restored to a somewhat modern standard. Some of the old design features were kept which is quite nice. Had breakfast included in the stay and apart from a small hick-up on the first day the service was really good. We had gluten-free options available for our youngest as well. The family room was big enough for 4 people and very clean. I presume due to the age of the building all the floors are wooden in the rooms so it was very noisy at time with people above us running all over the place. The (broken) fan in the bathroom (when you switch on the light) as well as flushing the toilet would generally wake up everybody in the room at night. But overall the experience was good. If you are looking for a place to stay for a little while in an amazing location (for trekking, cycling, fishing etc.) this is definitely a great option. Just keep in mind, this is not a hotel but a guesthouse. There is no room service and during our stay midweek the restaurant was closed as well (after 5pm). Unfortunately so was almost every other food place in the village so eat elsewhere before returning in the evening. But the breakfast is great and gets you started for the day. Would probably stay here again if we're in the area."
"We had a fantastic night on Saturday. Had dinner downstairs , which was perfect and it is so close to everything in the town. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I could ot recommend this place enough and will very back soon. Thank you."
"This review is for the restaurant. We were here for dinner - I had the special for the evening, a duck confit, and my partner had the vegan lentil curry. The duck was sumptuous and came with a generous serving of roast potatoes, mashed potatoes (parsnip?) and a side of greens. The curry was flavourful and was accompanied by a bowl of beautifully cooked rice. We loved the food here and would highly recommend it. Prices cheaper for lunch."
"Only had breakfast here when camping in the area, food was delicious, freshly cooked, well presented and no grease on the fry. Actually one of the nicest breakfasts I have had in my 70 years on this earth, staff are super obliging, pleasent, friendly. The place is spotlessly clean as are toilets we will definitely be calling here again when we are in the area, closes in October for winter months."
