Reviews of Douglas Village Community Park
"Place looks fantastic. Love what they've done with it"
"Nice community park. Good place to take your children for an outing. It is a rare happening place."
"The park is happening and busy. It's a nice place if you want to walk around. There is a kids play area and a basketball court."
"A lovely area that is well kept and accessible to all in the community. There is a playground and exercise machines. There are also well maintained paths and lovely seats. A new addition is a drinking water fountain which is very much welcome. Each Christmas they decorate the park and although all the lights aren't working, they are still beautiful"
"A beautiful little park right in the heart of Douglas Village. A lovely, fairly short walk under gorgeous trees. Outdoor gym equipment available, almost brand new. A lovely playground, well looked after. A full sized caged basketball court or football court on tarmac suitable for all ages. The "dough hut" lives there, run by Lar and his lovely family giving all us locals our daily dose of caffeine and doughnuts, freshly cooked with irresistible smells wafting around the park. Open from 11am to 5pm most days. A must if u visit the park. The park is open 7 days, dawn to dusk. Well worth the visit"
